In 1983, Warhol exhibited 128 paintings of children’s toys, many from his personal toy collection, in the Zurich art gallery of Bruno Bischofberger, his European dealer who had commissioned the works – with canvases hung at eye level for 3-5-year olds. Warhol’s toy paintings were recently featured in an exhibition called
The Art of Andy Warhol for Children.
