Karen Lerner (1945?- ) is a New York socialite and film producer. She is the ex-wife of Alan Jay Lerner (1918-1986), an Academy Award-winning lyricist involved in the production of Broadway and film musicals such as My Fair Lady,
Gigi, Camelot, and The Little Prince. Her ex-husband was a childhood friend of John F. Kennedy; and Karen Lerner developed a close friendship with Jackie Kennedy, later Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Lerner involved Jackie’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy, on an NBC film production in 1975.
