La protesta del campesino ante los inicuos despojos de que es objeto, es reprimida crudamente por la dictadura,que acusando de bandidaje a los descontentos, intenta justificar con ello los frecuentes fusilamientos. El Porfirismo les conduce un paredón y el pueblo levanta sus nombres como bandera de lucha que impulsa sus posteriores rebeliones, que han de cristalizar en el movimiento armado de 1910.

The peasants’ protests of the unfair plundering of which they are subject are coarsely repressed by the dictatorship, who tries to justify their frequent executions by accusing the peasants of banditry. The Porfirismo leads them to a (shooting) wall and the people raise their names in a battle cry that drive subsequent rebellions. These crystallize in the armed movement of 1910.
