Epilogo De La Huelga De Rio Blanco.
Epilogue of The Rio Blanco Strike. January 8, 1907. Print by Fernando Castro Pacheco.
By orders of Porfirio Díaz and the businessmen, the corpses of the workers killed by the federals were taken to the coast in several railroad cars so they could be thrown into the sea. It is well known that a certain man named Garcín and the owners of the factories of Rio Blanco, Veracruz, were toasting with glasses of champagne to the happy ending of the spinners’ strike. Also, toasts were made for the health of Díaz.
