At first glance this bronze sculpture may seem fully abstract. Searles takes curvilinear shapes and converts them into forms that look human. The human figures are portrayed in active poses and appear to be playing games, making music, or dancing. There is a sense of rhythm and movement in Searles’ sculptures that makes you feel the energy and playfulness of the pieces.
